This tea literally reeks of delicious taste and excellent quality, as what could be better than chocolate? Perhaps a subtropical forest bao zhong. I took a handful and gently crushed it (per Stephane's instructional video) then carefully placed it in a pre-heated porcelain gaiwan. The leaves were long and gently rolled, but fit in my flat-bottomed gaibei. The first pour was a rinse, but I tasted it for flavor--it had notes of sugar, honey, grass, and fruit with a long aftertaste. This was the interplay of flavors for the next six brews, and if had kept going I'm sure I would have gotten a few more worth savoring. By the way, this is a strong tea, and the flavor changed from very rich and complex to more vegetal and nourishing with later brews (five and six). I was quite caffeinated after drinking so many rounds in my gorgeous Qing dynasty wine cup! It's truly a delicious tea, and one I could happily drink every day for the great satisfaction it provides. Thank you Stephane, for bringing us another wonderful tea.
