The Tea Institute at Penn State's Yixing Teapot Exhibition

Above, you'll find all the events that will take place during The Yixing Teapot Exhibition organized by the Tea Institute at Penn State. It starts in exactly 2 weeks, on April 23rd.

The lectures will tackle the vast and complex subject of Yixing teapots, starting with the most fundamental key to understand them: the clay(s)!

Has anyone thought about filming these talks so that more people can experience them?

Bonjour Stéphane,
Programme plus qu'intéressant!
Pense tu qu'il serait possible de retranscrire une partie de ces conférences en vidéo pour les gens qui ne peuvent pas se déplacer?

I'll let the Tea Institute know about your suggestion for the video. (I'm sure they're reading this blog's comments anyway!)

I will also try to make a post to summarize what we'll learn during these events. However, I think that these lectures are not just about what will be said, but the most interesting part will be the ability to apply and verify the knowledge through experience. Touching the clays, the pots and then tasting the teas made from different teapots is something that can't be shared with a video. And this is probably the main point and also why the Tea Institute is inviting us to come Penn State in person.

I agree, nothing can replace being there in person, but I would love to hear about it afterwards!

The Penn State Tea Institute has a Facebook page, by the way, with a short video posted just this evening. You can take a peek at their on-campus tea house.
