20 years ago, at the end of July 2005, I created this page with my tea and tea ware selection. Until spring 2014, my tea friends would check this page and then send me their order by email. Then, I moved my curation to the tea-masters.com online boutique to simplify the order process. My purpose has remained the same: sharing the wonderful teas I can access in Taiwan with tea friends all around the world. This work has allowed me to focus a lot of energy on the infinite tea culture, tea history, tea art, guided by the amazing Teaparker, Taiwan's top tea writer, a tea master, ceramics expert and a pioneer in tea and food pairing.
These last 20 years were challenging as I invented a new job: tea blogger and tea instructor/vendor. And while most small ventures fold in the first 3 years, this little tea project has now reached 20 years! And this success is built on my readers who have trusted me, who were curious to taste the Oolongs I could find in Taiwan, who saw that I offered more detailed information about the products and their enjoyment. High quality teas prepared in gongfu style remain a niche market in the West, but once you've tried this quality level, it's difficult to go back to what is offered in most tea shops in America and Europe.
So, during the next 30 days, in the lull of summer, I would like to celebrate your support with special gifts! I'm not mentioning them on the website, because I want to focus on my blog readers. Just mention the code of the gift in comment of your order in order to receive the gift. If possible, mention several, in case the item you selected was already taken by someone else (and I hadn't time to update this article). Also, make sure that your order amount qualifies for the gift. If you want to be certain of the free gift you will receive, you may also write to me to reserve the gift first, thereby making sure that it's available. My email: stephane_erler@yahoo.com
