1 day 1 tea challenge

Last year, I did a December challenge, composing a Chaxi and posting it on my social media accounts every day until Christmas! In order not to repeat posting my limited Christmas decoration collection, I decided to do a November challenge instead! 1 day, 1 tea and I will try to not to brew the same tea twice.

When you are your own boss, as has been the case for me in the last 20 years, it's not always easy to motivate yourself to work hard and push your limits. This kind of challenge can help. Actually, I do drink tea everyday, so that's not really a challenge. It's taking beautiful pictures and find something new and interesting to say that is the challenge! But since I don't want to spend your dollars on advertisement on tech giants (Google or FaceBook/Instagram) with short slogans and pictures that are far from reality, I prefer to do what is called infotainment or edutainment, a mix of information or education in an entertaining and pleasing way, This has always been the goal of TeaMasters, bringing Chinese tea information from Taiwan to the world in an elegant manner. Tea drinkers have higher standards than other beverage drinkers!

But enough said! I start with my spring 2023 Qingxin Oolong from ShanLinXi.

The leaves are smaller than one would expect for a high mountain Oolong, because the harvests were delayed in 2023 and the farmer feared the leaves would lose their freshness and finesse. Indeed, the later the harvest, the warmer the weather.

Therefore, these small leaves are best brewed in shorter brews, because they open up faster than large leaves and their aromas are more concentrated. The result is a tea with elegance and flowery aromas. It brings a bright and sweet energy to start the day!

In a year with abnormal weather conditions, it makes a lot of sense to purchase from a tea store that is close to the farmers and selects the best batches! Christmas is coming. It's time to place your order on tea-masters.com and support my FREE tea classes on this blog and on my YouTube channel!

Great idea to give suggestions on what tea to brew each day. Variety keeps it more interesting by comparing different teas instead of getting stuck on one.
